Half, Olympic, Sprint & Relay Teams

A sentimental favourite in the Subaru Western Triathlon Series at picturesque Elk Lake. Now in its 17th year this tremendously popular, yet low-key, grassroots race is famous not only for its commemorative “Hoody” but also for its one loop swim course, beautiful ride through the Saanich Peninsula, and two loop trail run around the scenic lake setting. The race has a rich history of producing Ironman Champions and was recently named as one of the top 10 Greenest Triathlons in the world!

In addition to the famous Half and shorter sprint race, an Olympic distance event has been added for 2012. Race weekend will include a sponsor expo, keynote speakers, entertainment on the course & finish area, kid’s activities and ample photo backdrops to help you capture the moment. Bring a picnic lunch and relax and enjoy Father’s Day with family and friends and hear the "Voice of Ironman," Steve King call the athletes to the finish.
